How to use Pall Capsule Filter MACCA0507?
Preparation and Connection: Ensure the printer is off. Connect the inlet/outlet lines securely using the Female Luer-Lok connectors on the filter. The MACCA0507 is often used in-line between the ink tank and the printhead.
Installation Direction: Look for arrows on the device body indicating the direction of flow to ensure correct orientation.
Venting (Priming): To avoid air locks and ensure the membrane is properly wetted for maximum efficiency, slightly open the vent port (if applicable) or gently purge the filter until ink flows out without bubbles.
Replacement: The MACCA0507 is a disposable unit. Replace it when printing issues arise due to high pressure drop or as per the printer manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, which helps prevent printhead clogs.
